So Deastro is pretty high up on my Last.fm. #4 in fact. He should be #3 but I never feel like simply getting rid of bands simply because I don’t listen to them anymore (re: Fall Out Boy being #7 D:) But nonetheless ever since hearing Deastro the first time about a year ago I’ve loved their music.
Of course now the band is actually a solo project of one, Randolph Chabot Jr. after his band split for various reason. But the newest stuff released by him is just as synthy, bubbly and exotic as the stuff that’s been around for ages.
I was listening to a song – Toxic Crusaders and realized that it’s about not being a burden on the environment and living in harmony with nature. Right on Chabot! Although I’m no environmentalist I think that everyone should regard nature with extreme respect. I mean until we get colony ships of this planet and in to the stars it’s the only one we have, right? Anyway have a listen to Toxic Crusaders and decide what you think about Deastro.
